How do I apply?

In ordered to be considered for a graduate degree, certificate, or non-degree coursework, you must complete a Graduate Application and submit all program-related requirements within the program-specific deadline. Graduate applications must be completed online, and non-electronic supplemental materials can be mailed, faxed (201) 200-3411, or emailed gradadmissions@njcu.edu

If my previous institution(s) send official transcripts electronically, which email should they be sent to?

Please have official transcripts or any other supporting documents sent to Graduate Admissions at gradadmissions@njcu.edu 

What is the application deadline?
Application deadlines vary according to program, so it’s very important that you read over the application details for your intended degree. To find your particular deadline, please visit the graduate admissions page then select your program of choice and scroll down to the last section of the page.

My program of interest requires transcripts and test scores. Will NJCU accept unofficial copies?
While there is a designated section for you to self-report your test scores and your grade point average in your online application, the Office of Graduate Admissions requires official documentation of transcripts from all undergraduate institutions and graduate tests scores unless otherwise stated in your specific program requirements. Some programs allow applicants to waive GRE/GMAT/TOEFL scores. Please check the requirements for your program of choice as well as the waiver specifications.

Can I update or change one of my recommenders?
Yes. If you’d like to change your recommenders, you must email the Office of Graduate Admissions gradadmissions@njcu.edu with the correct/updated information.
