Completion of this major prepares educators to work with children from kindergarten through grade six and be eligible to obtain the Elementary Teacher Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS). Candidates for this certification must also complete a co-major offered by the William J. Maxwell College of Arts and Sciences.
