JERSEY CITY, N.J. | Âé¶¹´«Ã½ (NJCU) will host "Getting Ready for the World Cup 2026 '101'," a free community event designed to educate and excite attendees about the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which is coming to the United States and nearby MetLife Stadium next year. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Gilligan Student Union Multipurpose Room (2nd Floor).

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the largest sporting event ever held in Âé¶¹´«Ã½ — larger than even Super Bowl XLVIII in February, 2014 — with matches, including the finals, scheduled at MetLife Stadium. This educational session welcomes soccer enthusiasts of all knowledge levels, from dedicated fans to newcomers curious about the global phenomenon.
