Governor Murphy’s recently issued Executive Orders and lifted many COVID-19 related restrictions due to improved public health statistics and increased vaccinations in Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
As our university community looks forward to pre-pandemic operations on campus, the purpose of this email is to ensure clarity of our continuing vigilance in the adherence to recommended safety precautions. While each vice president may provide more detailed guidance for their own division, noted below is a summary of those continuing precautions across our campus:
- Vaccinations: Vaccination against COVID-19 offers the best path forward for us to return safely to a vibrant and fully accessible campus community. General Safeguards:
- Face Masks & Social Distancing: Individuals who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask or practice social distancing indoors on campus or at off-campus university activities.
- Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask indoors on campus and at off-campus university activities.
- Masks are not required outdoors.
- Fully vaccinated individuals are welcome to wear a mask if they so choose at their discretion.
